SCOPE OF WORK

Data Quality:

Client Representative is required to:

(i) Ensure Installation and Survey Contractors are performing work in accordance with the Contract.

(ii) Review data acquisition methods and procedures and ensure they are in accordance with the Contract and associated specifications and procedures.

(iii) Undertake QC of sufficient data to satisfy Company that data meets specifications.

(iv) Where the Client Representative has concerns about data quality or acquisition methods, Client Representative must address these concerns with the Installation and Survey Contractors to rectify, whilst also advising the Company.

HSE:

Client Representatives are required to:

(i)  Lead in HSE management offshore, demonstrate HSE commitment in all operations and live the Company Policy of “give Health and Safety prevailing status over other business objectives.”

(ii)  Stop the work if controls are not in place to manage hazards.

(iii)  Have read and understood Project HSE management plans and monitor the implementation of such plans.

(iv)  Ensure that the Installation and Survey Contractors are managing HSE offshore.

(v)  Ensure the Installation and Survey Contractors are implementing systems and routines to encourage participation and involvement by all team members in HSE matters.

(vi)  Be pro-active in hazard identification and encourage the participation of all team members in a pro-active hazard identification and management process.

(vii)  Ensure the Installation and Survey Contractors are implementing Environment Plan and is meeting all commitments contained therein.

(viii)  Advise Company immediately of any HSE incident that occurs.

(ix)  Represent the Company in all summary incident investigations when required.

(x)  Ensure all summary investigations are undertaken in accordance with the Company’s Standard – Event Reporting and Investigation Standard and the root causes are identified and addressed (when required)

(xi)  Attend on boarding rig and/or vessel inductions, HSE and other related toolbox meetings.

 

 

SKILLS & BACKGROUND

 

Work experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience Offshore
  • To have experience in acoustic subsea positioning (USBL, LBL, sparse LBL systems) in support of pipeline out of straightness surveys, metrology and drilling operations.
  • To have experience in multi beam echsounder surveys in support of rock stabilisation and/or intervention works.
  • To have experience in other ancillary survey equipment technology (DVL, INS, etc) in support of general ROV navigation and pipeline out of straightness surveys etc.
  • Operating practices and equipment calibrations covering as a minimum.
